On the Cluetrain Manifesto's 10th anniversary, I can say that Steve has an excellent and intuitive grasp of how to apply its concepts in real-world, Government 2.0 settings.

I believe I can say this with credibility, having worked on some of the earliest commercial and public Social Media projects in the mid 1990's, first as a commercial evangelist for The WELL community's professional services group. The WELL was a seminal influence on Cluetrain's four co-authors.

For those who haven't yet seen it, here's the Flickr photo gallery of our Government 2.0 Camp panel "Get on Board the Government 2.0 Cluetrain or Get Hit by It," based on Steve's theses, with co-panelists Linda Cureton, Mark Drapeau, Brian Drake and myself: http://tr.im/i11S
